Privacy Policy

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website.

Contact with us

If you contact us via a form on the website or by email, the data you provide will be stored for six months for the purpose of processing your request and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device using your browser. They do not cause any damage.

We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

More information about the cookies we use and how to disable them can be found in our Cookie Policy.

If cookies are disabled, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website.
The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, your IP address is truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software accordingly. You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link:

Use of Google AdWords Conversion Tracking

This website uses the online advertising program “Google AdWords” and, within this framework, conversion tracking. A cookie is set on your computer by Google AdWords if you have reached our website via a Google advertisement. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked across the websites of AdWords customers.

The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.

If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can easily disable the Google conversion tracking cookie via your internet browser’s user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. More information can be found in Google’s privacy policy:

Conversion Tracking with the Facebook Visitor Action Pixel

Within our website, we use the “visitor action pixel” of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”) to measure the effectiveness of online marketing measures. With its help, we can track users’ actions after they have seen and/or clicked on a Facebook advertisement. This allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected in this way is anonymous for us; we cannot see personal data of individual users or combine it with other user information.

However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook. Facebook can therefore track the behavior of users who have clicked on an advertisement within Facebook’s member area and were redirected to our website. By using cookies (text files stored on your computer), Facebook can recognize this user again within the Facebook member area and optimize the efficiency of advertisements, e.g., by offering target group-oriented advertising, in accordance with Facebook’s data use policy.

You can object to this data processing via the following links:

LinkedIn Insight Tag

We use the marketing services of the social network LinkedIn. The provider is LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

The Insight Tag is a small JavaScript code snippet added to this website to enable detailed campaign reporting and to gain valuable information about you as a visitor to this website.

We use the Insight Tag to track conversions, perform retargeting, and obtain additional information about you as a LinkedIn member when you view one of our advertisements.

The Insight Tag enables LinkedIn to collect data such as URL, referrer URL, IP address, device and browser characteristics (user agent), and timestamps. This data is encrypted by LinkedIn, anonymized within seven days, and the anonymized data is deleted within 90 days. LinkedIn does not share personal data with us but only provides the anonymous total number of users who clicked on our ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. We do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.

Further information on data collection and use, as well as options and rights to protect your privacy, can be found in LinkedIn’s privacy policy:
